Hydrothapy is performed either from a private venue in Radlett or a public pool in Borehamwood. Hydrotherapy is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing pain, reduced mobility, or difficulty exercising on land, allowing movement with less strain on joints and muscles.
Hydrotherapy uses buoyancy, resistance and heat to support movement and recovery. The water reduces pressure on the body while providing gentle resistance to improve strength, flexibility, balance and confidence in movement.
Hydrotherapy may be used on its own or alongside land-based physiotherapy as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.
